This is a typical week of training during the beginning of outdoor season.

Monday
A.M- awake around 7 play a quick game of guitar hero then I usually depending on how  I feel go either 20 to 30 minutes,   I'll come back eat a lil eggs with bread.  Then I'll watch sportcenter for roughly for 2 hours and contemplate going to my class usually I say the hell with it.  Then i guess around 12:30 i do abs with Kate and then head to practice for 1:30.  Typically on a Monday we do a decent workout,  it varies we rarely do anything over 1200 meters.  The workout we did last Monday was 3x1000 with 3 minute rest in between and 5 minutes after the set.  We did this set 3 times for a total of 9000 meters on the track.  it was surprisingly easy.  the pace was 72's on the first set, 72- 70 on the second and 68-70 on the third.  all in all I was a completes badass an slammed it.
Tuesday Tuesdays i think suck more for me than a workout day and here why.  I wake up run for 60 to 70 minutes.  I'm not really a mileage guy.  I figure if i run 60 minutes everyday thats basically the mileage I'm putting in for the week so if I average 80 minutes a day I would say I'm at about 75 to 80 miles a week.   After running, I go to this shitty salsa dancing class that Kate made me sign up for and for and hour and a half I am working my ass off.  Then at 1:30 depending on how I feel we usually run anywhere from 30 to 50 minutes,  then I usually do some hurdle drills and practice my sweet jumps of the steeple barrier.  I also attempt to lift weights but sometimes I say f*** it and just call it a day.   but when i do lift it usually light weight high reps with sets of 3.  I'm usually worn out after Tuesday.  O yes I am a firm believer in drills as well.
Wednesday
It begins the same as Monday with a game of guitar hero followed by a 30 minute run on the golf course.  sometimes on Wednesday I go swim at the rec.  For lunch i go to rotoRos and eat a calzone because there only 5 bucks and thats a hell of a deal, also since we usually leave on a Thursday for track trips we rarely have another workout on the track, its usually a fartlek or a 6 mile tempo with 5 200's after.  thats another reason why I eat a calzone, because its ok to slack off on fartleks.
Thursday
Thursday depending on when we leave I try to get up and run in the morning before boarding the plane.  Traveling really effects your mileage I find.  So we travel and when we get to our destination i usually go str8 to a bar to have one drink and then I go to my room and take a nap till shake out.  Traveling is a lot tougher than one would think especially if your doing it week in and week out.

Jake, how ironic is it that underneath your picture there's a link on How To Lose Your Belly Fat?

Jake, thanks to you and Sticker and the other two guys for returning those long jump pit covers you stole. Maybe a little more time at the salsa dancing will have you ready to roll.

the other guy who beat you in the 10k.

I'm in Jake's salsa dancing class...and I'm jealous Kate always gets to dance with him. He's got amazing moves...I can see how he's so good at guitar hero, he's definately got rhythm!

I've seen Jake's dance moves. He gets all the old women feeling frisky. Pretty badass.

P.S. Jake, you need to finish off your training week. You're leaving everyone hangin', fool.

Jake, Kate is holding you back in this dancing deal. Find a better partner.

Nah, nothing's better than Kate's smiling face lighting up as she chuckles and says, "Hehe Jaake!"
