In all sports there is a chance of freak accidents happening. Here is a series of movies that watch and just think, "wow, I'm happy I'm not that guy".
1. Javelin to the back
This was at a Golden League Meet in Rome last summer. The long jumper was just minding his own business and all of a sudden, something got him.
2. Steeple to the face.
Well, in all sports there is that chance of tripping on your feet. Just hope and pray its not at such a bad time.
3. Marathon Slip
It is cool to finish a race first and put your hands in the air to enjoy your moment of glory. Just make sure you have good footing first.
4. Extreme Cross Country
Well, these aren't really accidents but I've never seen so many people bite it in my life.
5. Pole Vaulting gone wrong
This doesn't need a description.
6. Idiot running on the course
I knew this happened in soccer a lot, but the Olympics?
