This is a typical week of training towards the start of track season training for the 10k.

Monday (a.m.)
Monday (p.m.)
An easy 40 minutes.
8 - 10 miles are an easy pace
Tuesday (a.m.)
Tuesday (p.m.)
An easy 40 minutes.
Start the run with a 2 mile warmup. We then do 3x3 mile repeats on a semi hilly course around 16 flat pace. We usually get a little carried away and average them around 15:45ish. There is a 3 minute rep time and then we end the workout with a 2 mile cool down.

An easy 40 minutes.
5-6 miles easy.
Thursday (a.m.)
Thursday (p.m.)
An easy 40 minutes.
2 mile warmup and then a 1500m loop seven times and each mile drop the pace down another 10 seconds. We usually start around 5:50 pace.
Friday And easy run at whatever distance I feel, usually about 4-5 miles
Saturday Race day, usually the 5k or 10k.
Sunday 105 - 120 minute run.
