This is a typical week of training during the beginning of outdoor season.
| Monday |
8-11 miles, recover from long run. |
| Tuesday | 9-12 miles, workout, usually intervals. |
| Wednesday |
8-11 miles, easy recovery from the workout. |
| Thursday |
8-11 miles, workout, usually tempo. |
| Friday | 7-10 miles, easy recovery to get ready for the race. |
| Saturday | Race 5K, 10K, 3K, steeple, whatever coach has me doing. |
| Sunday | Long run around 14-16 miles. |
| Favorite Workout | 5 x mile equal rest on grass faster everyone. |
