About: I am a sophomore at the University of Southern Indiana. This sport has brought me a lot of joy and a lot of pain.  If I could go back and do anything different it would be to dedicate myself earlier.  I love this sport and I am truly blessed to be running in college.

This is a typical week of training during the beginning of outdoor season.

Monday
8-11 miles, recover from long run.
Tuesday 9-12 miles, workout, usually intervals.
Wednesday
8-11 miles, easy recovery from the workout.
Thursday
8-11 miles, workout, usually tempo.
Friday 7-10 miles, easy recovery to get ready for the race.
Saturday Race 5K, 10K, 3K, steeple, whatever coach has me doing.
Sunday Long run around 14-16 miles.
Favorite Workout 5 x mile equal rest on grass faster everyone.
