This is a typical week of training at the beginning of the outdoor season.

Monday (a.m.)
Monday (p.m.)
An easy 20 minutes.
We did a 3 mile tempo (6:16, 6:14, 6:15). Then 4x200m over the steeple barriers at 38, 38, 37, 37.  This workout was with a 2 mile warm-up and cool-down. Abs session afterwards.
Tuesday (a.m.)
Tuesday (p.m.)
An easy 20 minutes.
7 and a half miles easy with form drills and then 6 strides over the barriers. Weights session afterwards.
Wednesday (a.m.)
Wednesday (p.m.)
An easy 20 minutes.
3x600m (1:47, 1:48, 1:46) and 2x300m (49, 48). This was also with a 2 mile warm-up and 1 mile cool-down.  Abs session afterwards.
Thursday (a.m.)
Thursday (p.m.)
An easy 20 minutes.
7.5 miles easy and then form drills and 6 strides over the barriers and then weights.
Friday 12x1 minute hard, 1 minute jog with 1.5 mile warm-up and cool-down. Abs session afterwards
Saturday 12 mile run with a 15 minute pick up during it.
